Our story began 50 years ago with the purchase of rich farmland in Simcoe County. In 1960, Rocco and Gordon Cappuccitti had the foresight to craft high quality, high yield potato and seed production for generations to come. This 18-parcel collection of land, isolated from all other potato production in the area, resulted in over 1800 acres of protected prime potato lands known today as Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc.
Ontario Potato Dist. (Alliston) Inc. continues to grow from its humble beginnings, keeping in mind the commitment to quality and innovation that separates it from its competition. This solely family-owned venture continues to provide high quality potatoes across Ontario, supplying to supermarkets, industries, and families with our Champion Brand Potatoes.
