Air Fryer Mashed Potato Balls

Ingredients:

–              2 cups of mashed potatoes, leftovers work great 

–              ½ cup of shredded cheese, cheddar or mozzarella 

–              ¼ cup of breadcrumbs for coating 

–              1 egg, for dipping 

–              Salt and pepper, for taste 

 

Instructions:

Prep: If you don’t have leftover mashed potatoes, make some. Let them cool down before forming the balls.

Form the Balls: Take small spoon fuls of mashed potatoes and form them into balls. Add cheese inside for a cheesy center, if you like.

Coat: Dip each ball into the egg wash (beaten egg), then coat them in breadcrumbs.

Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with olive oil, then place the balls in a single layer. Spray them with a little olive oil. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden and crispy.

Serve: Serve with sour cream, ketchup, or ranch dipping sauce.
